Clyde Sea Recovery Ltd ceased trading on 1st of April 2013.
Following an online survey that I emailed to everyone to enquire if people would renew their memberships this year, I had 68% of members who replied saying they would renew. However a drop of 32% following last year’s 39% I can no longer retain the business. Non-member callouts also dropped by 80% between 2011 and 2012 and this was the source of most of our income.
With a mixture of people not having their boats in the water because of the financial climate to the weather over the last few years not being great, memberships have slowly dropped to the point where the income does not cover the expenses.
